Western Washington Sports Car Council - Uncategorised

Torque Steerers is hosting events #2 (Understeer) & #3 (Oversteer) of the WWSCC series at the Hampton Mills site in Packwood WA on May 6th - two events in one day. Come on out and play!

Registration is open online!

https://scorekeeper.wwscc.org/register/ww2023/events (online pre-registration for both events will close at 6pm on Thursday, May 4th)

Highways 410 and 123 are still closed for the season and do not typically open until after Memorial Day - plan to use alternate routes.

Fees (all fees collected on site; cash, card, or check)

Due to the significant increase in the site rental fee for Packwood, entry fees are $50 per event (no onsite penalty) in order to cover the cost of running the events. Competitors who are not annual members of Torque Steerers will have to buy a $5 weekend membership (sorry, we gotta do it for tax purposes).

Participants will be required to show a valid driver’s license.

If your car blows over the limit we will try to work with you.

This event has historically been a fantastic fundraiser for UWFM, a team that designs and builds custom formula cars to compete with teams from both the US and across the globe. The money goes towards better materials and design tools that assist them in their journeys towards being world-class engineers; check them out at https://uwformula.com/.

How you can support the team: The RENT-A-STUDENT program gives you the option to “hire” a UWFM team member to fill-in on your course work responsibilities. All proceeds from the RENT-A-STUDENT program go back to UWFM.
