On Saturday August 10 and Sunday August 11, the WWSCC clubs will pool their resources to present the Coneheads Practice and Sports Car Spectacular, at Sanderson Field in Shelton, WA. The Coneheads event on Saturday will be a casual fun practice with a simple format and a focus on seat time. Entry fee will be $35, (30 if you pre-register, see the Online Registration link at left). There will be one Registration and Tech period, 8am to 9am. Drivers' meeting will be at 9:30, and we will break into two groups (one runs, one works) and start running by 10. Lunch break at approximately 12:30 (depending on turnout), then 45 minutes later we'll do it all over again. The course will be Sunday's course backwards, more or less, with a variety of basic elements. Pre-registration for the practice closes Thursday night 8/8 at 6pm. Sundays's SCS event will be #5 in the 2019 WWSCC Championship Series, so Stock groups will run in the morning and non-Stock in the afternoon. Morning Registration and Tech will be 7:30-8:30, afternoon will be 11:30-12:30. Run/work groups are as follows: AM: STOCK Entry fee for Sunday is $35, $30 if you pre-register (you can do that by the Online Registration link at the left). Pre-registration closes Friday night 8/9 at 6pm.
BEAC will present its annual Autopilot event on Saturday, July 27th, at Sanderson Field in Shelton. Plan now to join us for another fun day of autocrossing. This is event #4 in this year's series, so the non-Stock groups will run in the a.m., Stock groups in the p.m. The run/work order looks like this: AM: NON-STOCK Morning Registration and Tech will be 7:30-8:30, with Driver's Meeting planned for 9:00. Afternoon Registration will be 11:30-30 minutes after last a.m. run is completed, with Driver's Meeting planned for 1pm. Entry fee will be $30 for pre-registered entrants, $35 on-site. You can pre-register using the Online Registration link at the left, or here. For those who haven't run a WWSCC event yet this year, there is an additional once-a-year $5 insurance fee. Torque Steerers will present Understeer and Oversteer on Sunday, May 26th, at Bremerton Motorsports Park. All classes will run in the a.m. for Understeer, and all classes will run in the p.m. for Oversteer. Pre-registration is open now, via the link at left or here.
