August WWSCC Meeting Minutes

 

Called to order at 7:41

 

Attendance: Karl Coleman – President; Dieter Beldi – Vice President, PSMC, ACE; Keith Brown – SCCA; Joe Knuth – UWFSAE; TJ Mcgeary – BSCC, TS; Nord Krupa – CSCC; Scott Morton – NWDE; Zane Kenney – Secretary, BEAC; Kelley Picasso – Treasurer.

 

Previous Months Minutes: Keith moved to approve as amended. Motion carries.

 

Treasurers report:

Kelley handed out invoices to clubs with outstanding balances. The treasurers will be running for reelection this year so be on the lookout for a replacement.

New Business:

 

BEAC Enduro Review – General good comments about the event. It was lightly attended and numerous people brought up the need for better advertising. Registration was late getting started and the Go/Stop sign turning wasn’t correct for a couple competitors. Drawing order from a hat for grid spots in PAX was appreciated by the competitors.

 

Shelton Site Dates – Dates for events in September and October still need to be transferred for those events.

 

Event Plans –

PSMC Miatacross and UWFSAE event plans were presented.

Sports Car Spectacular was discussed and clubs volunteered for the following:

 

Chiefs-

Tech: BSCC

Timing: ACE / NWDE shadowing

Grid: UWFSAE

Registration: TS

Waivers: PSMC

Workers: SCCA

Course/Setup: BEAC

 

Donations-

TS: Helmets/Radios/Flags/Extinguishers

BEAC: Timing Vehicle/PA/Generator

BSCC: $100

ACE: $100
