Western Washington Sports Car Council - Coneheads Test N Tune Info

The details for the Coneheads Test N Tune, August 12th at Sanderson Field, have been pretty much finalized.

This is a limited-entry event, with a cap of 50 entrants and an entry fee of $35.00 (pre-registered, pre-paid).  To secure a spot you must pre-pay.  The Registration page for the event has been updated to include a PayPal address, or you can snail-mail a check to: WWSCC, 14337 S.E. 163rd St., Renton, WA  98058.  If you've already registered, you'll need to either go back and do the PayPal thing or send in the payment to make sure your spot is reserved.  Payment must be received ("check's in the mail" doesn't do it) to hold the spot(s).

This is a two-part Test and Tune event, with two separate simple, element-focused course sections running in the morning, joined to form a full course in the afternoon.  The event will rotate in timed shifts, depending upon turnout.  Course work stations will be minimally staffed and responsible for cone retrieval and safety only; no call-in.  The course will be changed over during a half-hour break at approximately 1:00.

Drivers in the Run group may line up and run either section at any time during their session in the morning.  Drivers in the Work group will be split across the two sections in the morning, with running and working the full course as normal in the afternoon.

The site will open at 7:00 a.m.  Registration and Tech will be 7:30-8:30.  Mandatory Drivers' Meeting at 9 a.m.

If you are running both Coneheads and Sunday's Sports Car Spectacular, you can camp on-site if you wish (this costs us extra in site rental, so there is a nominal fee associated with this).
