August 11, 2008
Goldies on Airport
Meeting called to order by Karl 7:35
Attendance: Karl Coleman – President; Keith Brown – Secretary, SCCA; Amy Coleman – TS; Zane Kenney – BEAC; Brett Wilson; Enrique Garcia; Dieter Beldi – Vice President, PSMC, ACE; Ann Wilson – NWDE; Steven Yao – UWFSAE; Kelley Picasso – Treasurer; Brent Picasso;
Meeting Minute Review: Motion to approve Dieter, Second by Zane. Minutes approved
Treasurer’s Report: May through august, paid for stamps, paid for Cheney, and rule books, K&K insurance fees. $3788.62 in the bank. Still has outstanding invoices from TS. $5200 in outstanding Accounts receivable. Need further breakdown of AR.
Old Business:
Dan Morrison’s motion from the July meeting was out of order, Only club reps and council officers can make motions. Any further action has to be brought up by a member club.
New Business:
Dogfight review – Voting results, all clubs voted to approve championship status – UWFSAE abstained
Autopilot review - Voting results, all clubs voted to approve championship status – UWFSAE abstained
Beac enduro – Lots of cones, some folks did not have a single clean run. Long course, fun design by Karen Babb. Site was good, really good for enduro. Not as good for regular events, only two cars on course maximum. Need to clarify where out of bounds is for sites as part of event plan approval.
Dawgdash Event Plan - Not yet… to be presented at September meeting. Email plan to the council.
Pacific Raceways may be putting in a skid pad, they are currently in the process of planning. We need to approach them. Ann will provide Karl the contact info.
Brett Wilson is requesting to upgrade to a new council laptop to run the timing and scoring software. Advised to make a proposal for the next meeting.
Need to find a date for Coneheads Practice
