WWSCC Council Meeting

April 21, 2008

Meeting Called to order by Karl at 7:36

Attendance: Karl Coleman, President; Dieter Beldi, Vice President- PSMC, ACE; Keith Brown, Secretary – SCCA; Kelley Picasso, Treasurer; Amy Coleman – TS; TJ McGeary- BSCC; Ann Wilson – NWDE; Gilbert Gede – UWFSAE; Stephan Yao, Scott Miller; Enrique Garcia; Zane Kenney – BEAC; John Kimball; Laura Kimball; McKenzie Spoor – CSCC; Karen Babb – Insurance Focal

Meeting Minute review:

February minutes, recorded by Amy Coleman, moved to approve Keith second Zane Minutes approved with amendments

March Minutes, moved to approve Deiter, second by John. Minutes Approved

Treasurers Report: Recap of January through April 2008 Income $4662.21. Kelley has not sent out invoices for past events this year. She will forward billing to club treasurers. Insurance per member invoices will be sent out based on info provided by the clubs. Per event coverage is still $305. The per member fee is $9.06

Trophy expenditures were $4900 for 2007. Karl asked if the funds expended were close to the amount collected.

Old Business:

Slush banquet, 17 people attended, a good time was had by all. Kelley put together a nice raffle

Site update, Union Pacific site is probably not going to happen. The region manager has no interest in working with us.

Terminal 5 Port of Seattle. Ivan brought up the fact that AMCI can use the site for arrive and drives, why can’t we?

Muckleshoot casino, lot is usable, may be available.

White River, back lot, we are checking to see if it has been paved.

Chuckanut is looking into the weight station at Bow Hill, there is a large truck storage lot out of sight of the freeway.

Cheney Stadium, no new info

Emerald Downs, no new info

UWFSAE is continuing a search for sites, coordinating with BEAC

Karl is still looking at options to co-host with BSCC.

Enrique is still looking for the timing equipment, Ron said he gave it to Brett Wilson

New Business:

Checklist review. Copies were handed around for review, edits were given to Karen Babb.

Drivers meeting notes. Discussion of notes. Several additions were mentioned. No firearms, cost of timing gear incidents, and adding a restriction regarding photographers.

Team Ascension – Scion Club. Interested in holding an autocross event. There are no available sites. If they come up with a site and insurance several clubs expressed interest in helping.

Classing of Scion Xb, It is currently not classed, and we have no desire to go against the advice of the SCCA

Honey Buckets. Have been removed from Everett. Current cost is $400, with only one event (UWFSAE) Kelley will look into the weekend cost and bill UWFSAE, the council will cover the remainder.

2008 hold harmless, signed and returned to BEAC for equipment storage on Boeing property.

SCHEDULE:

CSCC has an event scheduled for Fathers Day at Mt Baker. They are still working out the details.
