Balance as of December 31, 2006 is $12,889, with $118 outstanding from TS. Honey buckets have been arranged for the 2007 season, if your club is planning an additional event at Everett, beyond the slush and championship events, please let Kelley know so she can schedule additional service. The trophy budget includes the series sponsorship fee of $500.

Old Business

Trophies – Dieter gave an update on the status, the cones are on order, Logo stitch-outs have been approved and his has gotten the sizes for everyone except Jim Starkovitch. He is still planning to approach Griot’s Garage about the perfect attendance awards. Back up plan is “The Absorber”

Del Hines Sportsmanship Award – Karen Babb gave a little history on Del Hines and how the award is selected.

Del Hines was a major contributor to the council in the 60’s and 70’s, chairing many events and generally being very helpful. He was part of “Corsa” the local corvair club and had many, including one that he shorted to be a better autocross car, crating the original Mod B car in WWSCC. He died suddenly of a heart attack, leaving many commitments to the council unfulfilled. He was sorely missed.

The Award is determined by the past recipients, from nominations received by the council. The most recent recipient is in charge of polling the past recipients to determine the award. This in not an annual award, it is an award of merit.

2007 Rule Proposals – Only three clubs had voted on the proposals, TS, BSCC and SCCA. There was discussion of several additional cars to be classed this year: Sky Redline, Solstice GXP, SRT4, Scion TC, Mazdaspeed 3.

Website – Karl spoke with Alan, and he indicated that the website and email list should be online in the next week. Member clubs can use the WW account to host club specific email lists, as long as it is not burdensome to the WW webmaster. Ron and Karl will stay on top of Alan and Glenn.

Coneheads Banquet – Registration is open, info is on the website. Council will donate a season pass again this year. The member clubs are reminded that they can ask for reimbursement if the pass is used at their event.
