Yes, it's a real Goodyear Blimp (N10A, one of 2 "non-rigid airships").  For much of the day at BEAC's Autopilot it could be seen in the background, waiting to go cover some game with little white balls over at Chambers Bay.  Event Chair Glen Hernandez coordinated with the blimp's support crew to help them find an access route that didn't go through the autocross course, and many cars had unique photo ops with the blimp as the day progressed.

Entrants saw a tough but fast (in places) and fun course, perfect weather, five runs, and a day that ended around 4pm.  By then the blimp had headed off to its next destination.
