I'm not sure the exact date but the WWSCC website premiered sometime in early February of 1995 thus this month marks it's 10th anniversary! This makes it one of the oldest autocross websites out there, pre-dating the NWR/SCCA and national SCCA websites by a number of years. What made it great is that the site was well-visited from day one, thanks to all the racing computer geeks we have up here.

The original version of this website was hosted on my personal account until we obtained the wwscc.org domain in 1997. A snapshot of the website from 1996 can be viewed here.

The Northwest Autocross List also dates from this time and will soon celebrate it's 10th birthday as well!

This is also a good time to mention that WWSCC is now 40 years old as well! Expect special reports on the history of WWSCC thoughout the year. By the way if you're an "old timer" and want to share your stories of the early days (or even the not-so-early days) please email me at webmaster@wwscc.org.

Anyway, thanks for supporting this site for the last 10 years! Here's to many more!
