WWSCC October Meeting Minutes
October 19, 2009 at Goldie’s on Airport Way
Meeting called to order at 19:33
Attendance: Karl Coleman – President; Dieter Beldi – VP, ACE, PSMC; Ryan Trickett – UWFSAE; Keith Brown – SCCA; TJ McGeary – BSCC, TS; Mary Lee – NWDE(incoming); Karen Babb; Scott Morton – NWDE(outgoing); Zane – Secretary, BEAC.
Minutes review: Keith moved to approve. TJ seconded. Motion carries.
Treasurers Report (Submitted via SMS): TS and UWFSAE paid invoices. Paid Sanderson Field and sani-cans for SCS. Had ~$2k gross income from sports car.

SCS Review – Good weather, course was good. 89 or so competitors. All the clubs did their work parts well. BEAC – yes, BSCC – yes, PSMC – yes, ACE – yes, TS – yes, NWDE – Yes, CSCC – absent, UWFSAE – yes, SCCA - yes. Championship status retained.
PSMC Miatacross Review – More good weather. Safe, no incidents. Minor issues due to inexperience of the club members. BEAC – yes, BSCC – yes, PSMC – yes, ACE – yes, TS – yes, NWDE – Yes, CSCC – absent, UWFSAE – yes, SCCA – yes. Championship status retained.
UWFSAE Dogdash Review – Very profitable for the club. One car went off course during the fun runs. Timing cable was hit during the event – UWFSAE needs to pay WWSCC for the incident. Timing systems needs work from the incident. Finish was a little scary for the penalty call in worker. Not enough hamburgers at the concession for lunch. Registration chief needs to remember to get list of annual fee paid. List can be obtained from timing laptop on site in the future. Issue with cone in an X-ed out box at the start of the afternoon session. Needs to be added to drivers meeting notes. Championship status vote postponed until November WWSCC Meeting.
ACE Dogfight Review – Wet in the morning, drying in the afternoon. Timing had faults all day long, possibly due to the incident the day before. First turnaround was tight. Course had a lot of open sections. Championship status vote postponed until November WWSCC Meeting.
